F.4 has just ended.
Me and my class had gone through a lot of challenges this year, both good and no good; fun and not fun. Let's start with something good.
We had a wonderful time in the English Camp, organised by Mr Yu. It was a wonderful experience. The three-day camp took us to another level and relaxing way of learning. We learnt about adequate and table manners. Not only could we learn, we could also enjoy some outdoor activities, like football and basketball. We all enjoyed it very much, and I wish we could have one more similar camp before or after the CE.
It was great that Mrs Ng returned to St. Paul's after leaving in the first term. St. Paul's music was being rescued because of her. She paid a lot of effort for the development of the College's music perspective. It was a great opportunity for all that could work with her. She is a really caring and kind teacher, and I wish her all the very best. Everyone should help and continue supporting Mrs Ng on maintaining a high standard of music at St. Paul's.
There are also some not-very-good things happened this year.
Our form teacher, Mr Lam, suffered from a strike, and he has to leave us for treatment. We had Mr Wong and Dr Mok as our interim form teacher. I felt very sorry about that, and I always wish him all the best. The incident happened suddenly one day, and we were all shocked. Luckily, he is recovering very well, and will return to the college in the coming September. We are planning to visit him next week, keep on following my blog to get the latest news.
My results in examinations this year are not up to standard this year, and way too low for a F class student. I have not been working hard enough, and my way of studying is not very good. I have to think through the reason and make a plan, in order to improve my results. I will have to work hard in the holidays.
Many great teachers, especially one which I like very much, are leaving this year. It is a pity for the College and students. Saying good-bye is something natural in life. But, it is just too sudden, and I don't feel good at all about this. This teacher is the best teacher of the subject that I have ever met. He is really good, and I treasure every moment with this teacher. It is my privilege to have him as my teacher. I wish him all the best. I hope he will find what he love to do.
And, F.4 comes to an end, with all these wonderful and not-so-good experiences. All in all, this is a good year, and I hope for more next year.
One year ends, but activities continue.
This summer will be packed with activities and work. The nearest one will be the A Cappella Festival Competition on 11th July. The St. Paul's Singers will be joining the competition. We're working hard on it, even the vacation has begun. I hope we will do very well in the competition, and win in it.
I will need to meet with all my great friends, teachers, and hang out with those nice ones. I also have to work on vacation assignments, and make sure I know all things I learnt in F.4. I didn't do well in the examinations, and I must work very hard on that.
I am sure this will be the busiest summer vacation period I've ever had.
