Weather became cool in November. It was no longer 30 degrees celsius. This sudden change of weather also caused me ill. Constant sneezing, headache, slight fever, and you name it. I love cool weather, but apparently, God didn't allow me to enjoy the weather.
Perhaps it is time to rethink what I did in my daily life. Doing nothing but playing during weekends is utterly unacceptable when you realise that there are not much time left till CE examinations arrive. No more time is allowed to be wasted. I should really plan and start studying, so to be ready for the mock examinations, and most importantly, the CE examinations.
Recently, I am appointed the Coordinator of St. Paul's Singers. I was surprised by the arrangements, as I am not really willing to be in this position this year. The reason is, again, that I have to deal with the public examinations which will determine a big part of my future. If I don't have to prepare for the CE examinations, I would have already nominated myself as the Coordinator during the "election" period. I have no choice now but to be the Coordinator. Much workload is expected to be added to the already heavy load that I have. Anyhow, I should think of ways to remedy the problem, but not telling others that I am not willing or whatsoever. I must do my part, and be responsible. Things will turn out all right, as I always said!
It is really important to walk your talk and not break any commitments and promises made. I am really disappointed to see the Prefects' Council broke its commitments, that it requests F.5 prefects to take duties on Speech Day. If they have not promised or stressed that F.5 prefects don't have to take any duties in major events after Sports Day, I would not be feeling so angry about its arrangements. I just hope the Committee Prefects would sit down and think about this, and stop pretending to be the ones who have the highest authority at school. I would also suggest them to rethink their organising strategies, and just wish they could come up with some better duty lists with no errors. It is so funny to see those errors even after million times of "refinements" and "editing". What a joke!
Christmas is coming. Let's all enjoy this joyous occasion, by singing and listening to the wonderful Christmas songs, of course not those commercialised ones! HA.
Alan.
