Think Different!

16 September 2008

School

My F.4 studies started on the 1st September, and it has been two weeks ago. I am very glad that I can study in one of the best classes in the form this year

Just in 2 weeks' time, I discovered a lot of "differences" between my 2-year St. Paul's experience in both Form 2 and 3. Unlike previous years, my class consists ALL top ten students, which is really amazing, but horrible, however. When you know how hard they study, you will be scared and blown away.

During recess, and even lunch time, a lot of my classmates stay in classroom and study. They work hard on Additional Mathematics problems, and else. You will be shocked when you see that.

Also, the classroom is always silent. Yes, it's damn silent, not a sound at all! Not even noises of the air conditionings in the classroom.

You will just be just surprised and shocked when you step into our classroom!

I really hope I can "survive" in this class, but not "killed" by them, as sometimes, it's really, really, really scared in the room! Hope things will get better soon.

i am one of the 'top 10's ga(sorry for offending u)
but i ne'er studied more than any of the '4F's, at least i do believe
yes, you're right, many of the '4F's here are very hard-workin', however, i dont think only hard work would bring them success.
'4F's are just so unfamiliar with each other, u will learn from them, advantage from them, rather than what other classes can give u.
I don't care, however, how others perform. I am who i am. Hope u get ideas from my comment~=]

Alan, I do agree what Andrew mentioned. Hardworking is not the key to success. We should have an analytical mind and critical thinking in order to achieve success.

I have been both a 4F student and a 4A student for a few days. I find that the atmosphere in 4F is very different from 4A's. I truely understand how you feel coz I have never been in an ace class. Sometimes it drives you crazy as everyone are very hardworking. The one sits next to you is also one of them.

Be honest, I have to say that many of the 4Fs are 'study machines'. I don't like this kind of learning atmosphere though it's totally silent during lessons.

Having less pressure, I feel much better in 4A. The teachers there are thoughtful and caring. Compared with 4F, most of the teachers have high qualifications, but, they don't really know how to teach.

Andrew Lau is a very special classmate. I say this from the bottom of my heart. I like the way he thinks and express himself.

I wish you a merry future in 4F. God bless you. This is the word from Holy Mama. Amen.
